Heavy menstrual flow is often associated with anemia. Drugs such as aspirin thin the blood and can cause micro-hemorrhage in the gastrointestinal tract. This could cause anemia, especially in women who use this medication for menstrual pain and cramps. Copper, Zinc, protein and B vitamins are essential for a healthy supply of red blood cells. Deficiencies of any of these can lead to various types of anemia, which are often difficult to diagnose. A sudden drop in red blood cells (hemolytic anemia) or hemoglobin (hypochromic anemia) is one of the early warning signs of cancer. Infestation of bowel parasites from outdoor pets can also lead to anemia and malnutrition. Often, anemia can only be clearly identified by a complete blood chemistry and blood cell study.

Drink two cups of Melaleuca Herbal Tea each day to maximize kidney detoxification. Get 20 minutes of moderate exercise five time times each week to adequately oxygenate the body.
