A strained muscle does not necessarily cause aches and pains. It may simply be the fatigue of a muscle or set of muscles because of prolonged inactivity, such as sitting in a car or concentrating on a particular task. Psychological stress may also be the perpetrator. Generally the aches and pains occur in the lower back or neck and shoulder area, although any muscle could be involved, including the feet.
* When involved in a prolonged activity, be sure that you get up and move around at least once every hour, preferably every half hour. This can prevent a lot of unnecessary aches and pains. When they do occur, Pain-A-Trate can give dramatic relief. When time allows, a long soak in a hot bath with Renew Bath Oil is very relaxing. If your feet are feeling a little numb from sitting too long, try the Body Satin Foot Lotion. It is very soothing.
