STRESS

    Ninety percent of all visits to health care providers are due to stress related challenges. Disease, anxiety and the resultant stress in our fast paced society are taking their toll. But they don't have to. Stress isn't always bad, but it is always a choice. Simple things can make a difference. Things like:

  • Take a lunch break every day. Make time for family and friends. 
  • Listen to your body. Rest when it says rest. 
  • Keep things in perspective. 
  • Wear clothes that make you feel good. 
  • Prepare the night before. 
  • Live one day at a time. 
  • Be sure the clock and telephone belong to you--not you to them. 
  • Laugh, love and choose to be happy.
