ASTHMA

Congestion and restriction of the lungs causes labored breathing and wheezing, and affects one out of every twelve people. Many are small children. Although it is associated with airborne allergies and occasional food sensitivities, improvement can occur by following a few simple suggestions.

    * Identify and restrict all sensitizing substances (see Air Puriification). Rid your home of all toxic personal care and home care products. Convert your home to Melaleuca products, beginning with the EcoSense Laundry System. As you convert your home to the safer products, remember to shampoo your carpets with MelaMagic or one of the other effective Mclalcuca products. See the Carpet Cleaner section in this book.

Adults and teenagers should take the Vitality Pack with Oligofructose Complex along with CeilWise, and children should take the Vita-Bears. ProVex and/or ProVex-Plus--l capsule for each 25 lbs of body weight per day should be taken to increase resistance to attacks. Get enough rest. If congestion exists, increase the amount of ProVex and/or ProVex-Plus until you find the level that provides relief. ProVex and/or ProVex-Plus, as well as the Vitality Pack or Vita-Bears have given many asthma sufferers much relief.

Further relief may come from a humidifier or vaporizer with water plus 10 drops of T36-C5 and 2 capfuls of Sol-U-Mel. Use in the bedroom each night for best results.

Adults can try adding 10 to 20 drops of Tabasco sauce (capsicum) in a few ounces of water and drinking it immediately before a meal to reduce congestion and thin mucous in the lungs.

One drop of T36-C5 on a cotton swab, gently used to clean pollen and dust from each nostril before bed, has helped many children.
